This is Betty. As an actress, she has received numerous nominations for her emotionally moving portrayals of dogs in need. In this scene in our Brooklyn backyard, Betty plays the part of a dog without a bone, despite the fact that she devoured an entire bone in record setting time just prior to the director yelling action. Just off camera, her costar, Barney, provides her with all of the motivation necessary, while he gnaws on a bone also given to him just five minutes prior.
